Become a vital part of our mission to deliver exceptional patient care as a Part-time Outpatient Oncology Staff Pharmacist at the Penn State Health LimeSpring Hematology/Oncology center in Lancaster, PA. This role provides a unique opportunity to directly impact patient outcomes within our adult infusion center, working closely with a collaborative interdisciplinary team. You will leverage your pharmaceutical expertise to optimize oncologic and medical specialty treatment plans, ensuring efficient and cost-effective care. Your responsibilities will encompass a blend of direct patient interaction and critical operational support: Patient-Centered Care: Engage directly with providers, nurses, and patients, providing education and acting as a trusted pharmaceutical resource. Treatment Plan Optimization: Collaborate with the medical team to evaluate and refine oncologic and medical specialty treatment plans. Sterile Product Management: Promote the safe handling and preparation of sterile products, ensuring adherence to USP 797 and 800 regulations. Inventory and Acquisition: Assist with product acquisition and efficient pharmaceutical inventory management. Quality Improvement: Engage with peers and interdisciplinary colleagues to develop and implement initiatives that enhance patient care. This part-time position offers a balanced work-life schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 12 pm (hours negotiable). No evenings, weekends, or holidays.
