About The Position

AlediumHR is representing a global pharmaceutical organization preparing to open a new pharmacy location in Clarinda, Iowa, in Spring 2026. They're hiring a Staff Pharmacist to be part of the core team supporting the launch and daily operations. This is an hourly position with a strong focus on patient care, consistency, and clinical accuracy. Location: Onsite – Clarinda, Iowa Where You Fit In This position is centered on delivering safe, effective, and efficient pharmacy services. You'll be in a patient-facing role, working closely with both patients and providers while supporting a structured and organized operation. You won't be managing the business—but you will play a key role in making sure everything runs smoothly day to day. What Your Day Actually Looks Like Accurately prepare and dispense medications in compliance with all regulatory standards Review prescriptions for accuracy, interactions, and overall appropriateness Work directly with patients to answer questions and explain medication therapies Support ongoing patient care by reviewing therapies and flagging any concerns Collaborate with prescribers when clarification or adjustments are needed Maintain clean, accurate, and compliant documentation within the pharmacy system You'll also support the operational side without owning it Assist with prescription claims processing and help resolve basic billing issues Follow all procedures related to controlled substances, safety, and record keeping Help maintain an organized workflow alongside technicians and pharmacy staff Step in to support patient concerns and ensure a positive experience What You Bring to the Table PharmD or Bachelor's in Pharmacy from an accredited program Active, unrestricted pharmacist license 1+ year of retail or ambulatory pharmacy experience preferred Strong attention to detail and comfort working in a fast-paced environment Why This Works for the Right Person You're steady, reliable, and take pride in getting things right the first time You communicate clearly with patients and don't rush through interactions You stay organized and can handle volume without losing accuracy You're a team player—no ego, just focus on doing the work well Familiarity with the 340B program is a plus, but not required This is a straightforward role in a pharmacy that's being built with intention. Requirements

• PharmD or Bachelor's in Pharmacy from an accredited program
• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license
• 1+ year of retail or ambulatory pharmacy experience preferred
