As a part time, nonexempt Staff Pharmacist at Lakeside Behavioral Health System, you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy. Schedule : This position will typically work two days per week including some weekends to help cover PTO and provide additional staffing. About the Facility : Located on a private 37-acre campus in Memphis, TN, Lakeside Behavioral Health System provides comprehensive behavioral health and addictive disease services, including inpatient, outpatient, and residential treatment, for people of all ages. The 313-bed facility is accredited by the Joint Commission. The centralized pharmacy staff has a good relationship with the nursing department. About the Pharmacy : Pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday, 6:00am-3:30pm, and Saturday/Sunday from 6:00am-3:30pm, and utilizes Omnicell dispensing system.

Requirements

  • Pharmacy Degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy
  • Current TN pharmacist license in good standing
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience with computer applications (word processing, spread sheets, Pharmacy information systems
