About The Position

The Staff Pharmacist Retail is responsible for all aspects of the retail pharmacy operations in the absence of the Pharmacy Operations Manager. This position ensures the most rigorous safety standards when dispensing any medication to patients in accordance to applicable state and federal laws. The Staff Pharmacist Retail is responsible for all personnel performing their daily job duties while adhering to the Franciscan Alliance Values. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to improve business processes, and the knowledge to implement initiatives set for forth by the Operations Manager. Alternating Day Shifts. Monday - Friday 7am-6pm. One Saturday a month 9am-3pm. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree REQUIRED
• Registered Pharmacist (RPh) - . in respective state REQUIRED
• Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist License - REQUIRED
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association REQUIRED

Nice To Haves

• Doctorate PREFERRED
• 1 year Specialty Pharmacy, Inpatient Pharmacy, or Retail Pharmacy PREFERRED
• 3 years Pharmacy PREFERRED
• Certified Immunizing Pharmacist - PREFERRED
• Certificate Medication Management Certification (MTM) - PREFERRED
