Requirements

• Pharmacist State License-APhA-American Pharmacists Association.
• Certified Pharmacist Immunizer-AphA-American Pharmacists Association.
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).

Responsibilities

• Answer, assess and listen to customer questions, needs and concerns; show empathy in sensitive situations; strive to exceed expectations, provide alternative solutions to problems, and achieve the best possible outcome for customers.
• Provide counseling on prescriptions; relay pertinent information for success and confidence in at home use of medication.
• Perform all necessary steps of work flow accurately and efficiently to ensure customers receive error-free products.
• Maintain product levels, improve efficiencies, seek continuous improvement opportunities, identify barriers to achieve goals, and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Support and stay current on company wellness initiatives; ensure consistency and execution and share best practices.
• Comply with all federal, state, and HIPAA regulations; ensure company guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures are followed.
• Verify potential licensing in any state Wegmans does business.
