Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
  • Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program.

Responsibilities

  • Provide pharmaceutical care to customers including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders.
  • Counsel customers regarding health care and prescription medication needs.
  • Maintain confidential information and controlled medication documentation.
  • Model and provide guidance to pharmacy staff on customer service approaches.
  • Understand the business from inventory control to compliance.
  • Create a culture of patient care safety and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with company and legal policies and procedures.
  • Analyze and identify areas of improvement needed and implement intervention steps.
  • Communicate clear expectations regarding quality of care and patient safety.
  • Promote reporting and transparency of errors.
  • Build relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.
