About The Position

Requirements

• Graduate of a college of pharmacy accredited by the American Council on pharmaceutical education (ACPE).
• Doctor of pharmacy degree preferred.
• Two years of hospital experience preferred.
• Hospital pharmacy residency preferred.
• Specialized pharmaceutical knowledge and good working knowledge of pharmacokinetic dosing and nutritional support.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer working knowledge.

• Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care services to patients including oversight, monitoring, preparation, dispensing and proper documentation of patient medication therapy.
• Provide drug information and patient information.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State and local laws and regulations.
• Advise physicians on medication utilization.
