About The Position

Perfusionist: Heart of the Operation We are seeking a New Graduate or Experienced Staff Perfusionist to join our growing SpecialtyCare team in Austin, TX at St. David’s Healthcare Network. The team consist of two (2) Area Clinical Managers, twelve (12) Perfusionists, one (1) ECMO Coordinator, ten (10) ECMO Specialists and six (6) Clinical Technicians – Autotransfusionist supporting nine (9) very talented surgeons. The adults only caseload includes CABGs, valves, VAD, HIPEC, and Aortic Reconstruction Surgeries. SpecialtyCare is the largest provider of perfusion services in the United States. Requirements

Graduate of Accredited Perfusion training program.
Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) or meets other Company requirements as a perfusionist.
Ability to work on Call; must live within 30 minutes from the hospital.
The successful candidate must bring a high level of ethical, intellectual, professional and personal values that complement the team and company vision.

Ability to adapt and thrive in a high stress environment necessary.
Excellent communication skills and basic computer skills are essential.
Proven self-starter who works well independently and as a part of the OR team.
