Responsibilities

Diagnose and evaluate orthopedic conditions through physical examinations, medical history reviews, and diagnostic imaging such as X-rays, MRI, and CT scans
Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing both surgical and non-surgical approaches
Perform a wide range of orthopedic surgical procedures, including joint replacements, fracture repairs, arthroscopy, and other orthopedic interventions
Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, ensuring patient safety, recovery, and optimal outcomes
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including primary care providers, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation specialists
Participate in rotating on-call coverage as part of a full-time orthopedic service
Maintain accurate, timely, and complete patient medical records, including documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and surgical outcomes
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and care plans
Stay current with advancements in orthopedic surgery and apply evidence-based practices to clinical decision-making
Participate in continuing medical education, professional development activities, conferences, and workshops
Adhere to ethical, professional, and regulatory standards including patient confidentiality, informed consent, and hospital policies
