About The Position

With plans to launch our aircraft in the US and Dubai, we're now scaling manufacturing and preparing for the launch of our commercial service. Overview The Staff Operations Improvement Engineer is responsible for deploying Joby’s process mining solution. The ideal candidate possesses years of first hand experience leading process mining implementations in fast-paced, technology environments. The Process Intelligence Staff Engineer will ensure that user requirements are translated into high value process mining use cases that help scale manufacturing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 8 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in process mining software.
• Occasional travel to different company sites.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency with process mining, SQL, Python, and data intelligence platforms
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience: Strong project management, business process improvement, data analytics, and relevant domain (Manufacturing, Finance, Supply Chain) experience.

Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Manage timelines, resources, scope, and budgets for process mining implementations, ensuring timely delivery and value realization.
• Technical Implementation: Lead data modeling, build process analyses/KPIs, develop integrations (SQL/Python), and leverage features like Task Mining and Machine Learning.
• Customer & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with C-level executives and technical teams to understand needs, communicate status, manage risks, and build roadmaps.
• Process Improvement: Use insights to uncover inefficiencies, understand root causes, and drive measurable improvements in business processes (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain).
• Team Guidance: Mentor implementation teams, including partner resources, ensuring adherence to value realization methodology and best practices.
• Collaborates with senior executives and technical teams, to understand requirements and manage implementation, serving as the main contact for requests and escalations.
• Works closely with business stakeholders to translate objectives into high-impact use cases
• Guides internal and partner implementation teams to follow the value realization methodology and manages risks
