About The Position
The Staff Operations and Training Specialist will serve in an Army Reserve Brigade or an equivalent sized unit. This role involves providing technical guidance to subordinate elements, higher headquarters, and general staff members on mobilization training plans. The specialist will conduct training for command and subordinate unit personnel on the use of the Army Training Requirements Reporting System (ATRRS) and will formulate guidance while participating in mobilization workshops for subordinate units in support of their mobilization mission. Additionally, the specialist will develop standard training policies and procedures to meet the Command's training needs, prepare mobilization training documents for publication, analyze policy and guidance pertaining to training objectives, and conduct staff assistance visits and inspections to ensure data in the unit mobilization file is complete and accurate.
