About The Position

Job Description: The Institute for Cognitive and Brain Health is looking to hire a part-time, licensed RN with cardiology training and phlebotomy to assist with multiple funded studies across the Institute. Some of the studies that require an RN include, but are not limited to: the effects of lifestyle choices and health behaviors (e.g. physical activity, diet) and their physiological sequelae (e.g. fitness, adiposity) on brain and cognition; the relation between fitness level and speech and hearing across populations; the interaction between stress and nutrition in pregnancy and infancy. This individual should be licensed in the state of Massachusetts as an RN, they should have experience with EKG and should be comfortable working with individuals across the lifespan, ranging from infants to older adults. Responsibilities will include monitoring maximal exercise testing as well as fasting blood draws on a variety of populations. Mornings are preferred; however, the individual should have some flexibility as needed for studies as participants are recruited. Additional hours may be come available as studies launch within the Institute. Compensation Grade/Pay Type: 110H Expected Hiring Range: $36.16 - $51.07 With the pay range(s) shown above, the starting salary will depend on several factors, which may include your education, experience, location, knowledge and expertise, and skills as well as a pay comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role.
