Requirements

  • Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing (or higher)
  • Active, unrestricted Florida LPN or RN license
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Experience in acute care, rehabilitation, hospital, home health, or hospice settings
  • Strong knowledge of nursing practices, assessments, and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable, compassionate, and professional demeanor
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Willingness to participate in 5 Star Cares Emergency/Disaster Response Teams (A, B, or C)
  • Ability to pass AHCA Level 2 background screening
  • Candidates must complete screening through the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in accordance with established care plans
  • Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately and timely
  • Communicate patient progress and changes to physicians and the clinical team
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans per physician orders
  • Educate and support patients and families with compassion and clarity
  • Coordinate care and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
  • Respond to emergencies with sound clinical judgment and professionalism
  • Maintain a clean, safe care environment and ensure proper equipment sanitation
  • Promote a respectful, supportive atmosphere for patients and staff
