About The Position
Under general supervision, assumes accountability to plan and provide direct professional nursing care for specified patients during his or her assigned shift as defined by population and unit. Provides nursing services to patients and families in accordance with the standards of practice of a professional nurse, CCMC policies & procedures, Joint Commission, and State & federal regulations. Reports to Nurse Manager, Nursing Operations Leaders. Connecticut Children’s is the only health system in Connecticut that is 100% dedicated to children.
