About The Position

Under general supervision, assumes 24-hour accountability to plan and provide direct professional nursing care for specified patients throughout the entire episode of service delivery as defined by population and unit. Provides nursing services to patients and families in accordance with the standards of practice of a professional nurse, CCMC policies & procedures, Joint Commission, and State & federal regulations. MS6 is a very teamwork oriented, fast paced inpatient floor. We provide care to both medical and surgical patients, and specialize in the care of children with complex gastrointestinal and nephrology conditions as well as eating disorders. We work closely with both the neonatal and pediatric intensive care units as we are the next step for children graduating out of the ICU environment. We value continuity of care and build strong trusting relationships with our patients and their families.
