About The Position

The Staff Nurse plays a critical role in the enhancement of each Resident Ranchers' life. The role is responsible for promoting the health, wellness, and overall quality of life for Ranchers by implementing individualized service plans and supporting Caregivers in their duties. This position focuses on empowering Ranchers to reach their highest potential through skill development, monitoring care standards, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Requirements

Arizona LPN or RN License required
Ability to meet all clearance requirements, including: Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card, Background check, Pre-employment physical, Drug screening, Reference check, Verification of absence from the Arizona Adult Protective Services Registry
Demonstrate strong ethical standards and moral character, with sensitivity to the needs of our Ranchers.
Good organization and computer skills
Strong communication, documentation, and customer service skills.
Compassionate, mature, sympathetic and professional.
Ability to navigate the terrain of the ranch safely and effectively.

Nice To Haves

Minimum of one-year experience with special needs populations is desirable but not required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with Resident Ranchers, families & guardians, medical providers, and employees.
Evidence of a strong Christian commitment is desirable and aligns with the values of Rainbow Acres.

Responsibilities

Promote Rancher health and wellness by following individualized service plans and supporting quality of life.
Empower Ranchers and Caregivers through skill development in hygiene, daily living, personal safety, communication, and social engagement.
Monitor Caregiver performance in medication administration, emergency preparedness, health documentation, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Maintain communication and advocacy with families, guardians, and healthcare providers while protecting resident rights and confidentiality.
Manage health-related processes including medication checks, order transcription, appointment coordination, and reporting unusual occurrences.
Provide direct care and administrative support such as triaging medical conditions, assisting with treatments, and handling office tasks as needed.
