About The Position
The Staff Nurse in the W&C Outpatient Surgery department at AnMed is responsible for providing comprehensive pre and post-operative care for surgical and endoscopy patients. This role involves completing thorough assessments and gathering medical histories on patients undergoing surgical and endoscopic procedures. The nurse will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the needs of patients, ensuring that care is tailored to each individual's requirements. In this position, the nurse will actively participate in delivering patient care as outlined in the multidisciplinary plan of care. This includes providing both direct and indirect nursing care to a diverse patient population, ranging from pediatric to geriatric patients, and respecting their varied cultural backgrounds. The Staff Nurse will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and a high standard of care throughout the surgical process.
