About The Position
We are currently seeking a Staff Nurse to join our Burn unit. This position is a 0.75 FTE (5 shifts/ pay period), 12-hour shifts, Day/Night, Every Third Weekend. Within the context of the Hennepin Healthcare System Patient and Family Centered Care model, and under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care.
Requirements
- 1 year of recent professional (RN) experience in an inpatient/hospital setting
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Minnesota
- Must be telemetry competent within 6 months of hire into role as well as successfully complete ICU training
Nice To Haves
- Burn and Wound capstone and/or professional experience strongly preferred
- Certification in area of clinical specialty
- BSN Preferred. Bachelor of Nursing degree is strongly encouraged.
