Staff Nurse, RN - The Meadows
About The Position
Are you tired of rushing from patient to patient? Are you looking for a nursing role where you have the time to care, connect, and truly make a difference? The Meadows of Wadena is excited to be expanding our nursing team and is seeking a compassionate, dependable Staff Nurse (RN) to join our already-strong care team. This is a newly added position designed to strengthen our clinical support and ensure continued excellent care for our seniors. You will work closely with a dedicated and collaborative care team to support our assisted living and memory care residents and uphold the high standards of care The Meadows of Wadena is known for.
Requirements
- Genuinely care about and be committed to the well-being of seniors in our care.
- Have good judgment, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Be dependable and able to work with minimal direct supervision once trained.
- Understand, read, write, and speak English.
- Be authorized by the State of Minnesota to work, unsupervised, with our residents as determined by a background study.
- Be a currently licensed RN in the State of Minnesota.
Nice To Haves
- Have a solid general nursing background, with geriatric experience preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- New admissions and discharges.
- Order, prepare, and/or administer medications.
- Transcribe and assist with implementation of physician orders.
- Monitor resident health and respond to change in conditions appropriately.
- Assist with the training and supervision of direct care staff.
