About The Position
Hennepin Healthcare System is seeking a Staff Nurse to join their Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team. This position is a 0.75 FTE, requiring 60 hours per pay period (5 shifts per pay period), with 12-hour day and night rotating shifts, every 4th weekend, and on-call as required per unit policy. The PACU provides critical care, evaluation, monitoring, and treatment to immediate post-operative and post-procedure patients of all ages emerging from anesthesia, caring for approximately 10,300 patients annually.
Requirements
- ACLS required
- PALS certification must be obtained within 3 months of hire
- 1 year of RN experience in Adult ICU or PACU within the past 3 years
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Minnesota
Nice To Haves
- Certification in area of clinical specialty
- BSN Preferred. Bachelor of Nursing degree is strongly encouraged.
