About The Position
As a 96-bed community for adults with multiple sclerosis and other advanced neurological disorders, The Boston Home's population is younger and more stable than many care facilities, with residents often joining the community in mid-life and residing for 20+ years. You will enjoy the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships with the residents for whom you care! The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing direct nursing care to the residents of The Boston Home. They provide appropriate direction and oversight to CNAs to assure that resident care is provided according to the individual care plan and that it meets TBH quality standards, as well as coordinating the delivery of care by other team members.
Requirements
- Valid state nursing license
- Long-term care experience
- RN preferred
Responsibilities
- Providing direct nursing care to the residents
- Providing appropriate direction and oversight to CNAs to assure that resident care is provided according to the individual care plan and that it meets TBH quality standards
- Coordinating the delivery of care by other team members
