The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory is at the cutting edge of interventional cardiology to render the best quality, cutting-edge, minimally invasive interventional services for patients with cardiac disease. Nurses work side-by-side with physicians who utilize highly effective techniques to obviate the need for open-heart surgery, consequently reducing the amount of invasive procedures performed on patients. This is a per diem position, working 2 shifts a month,(7am-5:30am)and 2 on call shifts after completion of orientation at NYP Westchester located in Bronxville; right across from the Metro North Station.
Requirements
- At least one year of acute care RN experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Current New York State RN license
- BCLS & ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- Previous nursing experience in critical care, ICU, or emergency department settings
