Staff Nurse - Resource Team (Tier 2) BONUS ELIGIBLE
About The Position
The Float Pool RN works within any of the nursing units within either Medical/Surgical, Critical Care/Telemetry as a fill in for call offs or to flex staff for increased census. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient needs utilizing nursing process. Actively participates in providing patient care as defined by multidisciplinary plan of care. Provides direct and indirect nursing care to patients from pediatric to geriatric populations with diverse cultural backgrounds. Tier 2 - Must be able to work 2 shifts per week, one weekend per month and one summer and one winter holiday per year. Shifts can be 8 or 12 hours.
Requirements
- SC RN license with at least 1 year of hospital nursing experience required.
- ADN candidates must be enrolled in a BSN program within 18 months from date of hire and are required to obtain BSN within four (4) years of date of hire.
- For current AnMed Health Associate Degree Nurses (ADN) who were hired as RNs prior to January 1, 2013, and already working as an acute care Staff Nurse as of that date, the requirement to obtain BSN within four (4) years will be waived.
