About The Position
The dialysis registered nurse provides direct nursing care to patients with acute or chronic renal failure. Specialized skills include pre-dialysis assessment, dialysis access, monitoring during and after treatment, operating the dialysis machinery, point-of-care lab testing, and patient/family education.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- MO RN license
- BLS must be obtained within 90 days
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate effective leadership abilities
- Exhibits valuable time management skills
- Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills.
- Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.
- RN license active in the state of Missouri
