We are on the lookout for motivated, dependable, and dedicated caregivers to provide exceptional direct care and support to our patients. The Licensed Practical Nurse assesses, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. Document patient information and nursing care in the provision of nursing services. Document any significant changes in the patient's condition in compliance with facility policy. Alerts the registered nurse of changes needing reassessment. Report any signs or symptoms of infection in patients to the Infection Control Nurse. Verify the accuracy of patient records. Provide data as appropriate for the development of an interdisciplinary treatment plan with specific and measurable goals, objectives and interventions defining actions unique to each patient's needs. Assist in the revision of the plan as goals/objectives are met or when the patient's condition changes. Document both the nursing interventions on the treatment plan and the patient's response to the intervention. Your Experience Matters What we provide for our team:

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited licensed practical nursing required.
  • A minimum of three (3) years ’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
  • Currently licensed to practice by the Georgia State Board of Nursing.
  • Must pass a medication administration exam before administering Medications.
  • CPR certification and successful completion of CPI including restraint and seclusion policies, within 90 days of employment, and prior to assisting in restraining procedures.
