The Staff Nurse II/III works in the 5T Telemetry Department under the supervision of the Director. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and supervising individualized patient care in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, and the Nurse Practice Act. The nurse will individualize care based on age-appropriate and developmental needs, and will be responsible for directing co-workers in care plan implementation. Collaboration with physicians, patients/families, and other healthcare team members is essential. The position requires the use of positive communication skills and the ability to work on other nursing units as needed. The nurse must demonstrate knowledge and skills appropriate to the age of the patients served.
