About The Position

The Registered Nurse II is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides fiscally responsible care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members. In addition to performing the essential functions listed below, the Registered Nurse II may also be assigned other duties as required.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN preferred or ADN with three years of specialty experience.
• Minimum of one year acute hospital experience.
• One year experience working in the Emergency Department.
• Current California RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• PALS certification.
• CEN preferred.
• TNCC certification.
• NIHSS certification.

Nice To Haves

• CEN certification.

Responsibilities
