About The Position
As part of a multidisciplinary team, provide care to cardiac, vascular, interventional radiology and neuro patients in the Cath Lab. Hemodynamic monitoring, circulating, and sedation administration during invasive procedures.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
- Current CA RN license, AHA ACLS, BLS required.
- Proficient in IV starts and EKG interpretation.
- Minimum 2 years acute care hospital experience and 1 year Vascular Imaging (Cath Lab) experience required.
- Strong Cardiac background.
- Ability to stand long periods with Lead aprons.
- Sedation competency.
- Ability to hold femoral artery pressure for 30 mins.
- Ability to support face paced interventional lab.
- Experience in Cardiac IR, Vascular IR, Interventional Radiology, Neuro Interventional procedures. Role(s) circulate, monitor and pre/post area.
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred.
- Preferred CCRN, CEN or RCIS certification.
