About The Position

This position will include tasks such as: Triage patient calls/concerns, have a good understanding of what warrants emergency vs urgent vs routine concern Nurse visits for drain removals, dressings changes and wound cares, evaluate post op patient concerns (ie hematoma, infection, etc.) and communicate with APP or provider as needed, tissue expansion, dilation education Prepare injectables and sterile procedures in clinic Assist in clinic procedures as needed Pre-charting/pre-documenting for clinic patients and gathering relevant material from chart review for recon referrals. Assist surgeon in clinic - scribe, chaperone Assist with creation of educational material for patients as needed Join the Team! Position: Registered Nurse RN – Ambulatory Shift: Full -time day shift (Monday through Friday) No weekends or Holidays.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited ASN or BSN nursing program.
  • Current Pennsylvania RN license.
  • Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a clinical nursing setting and/or primary care office.
  • Strong telephone triage experience.
  • Experience with Warfarin management, medication refills and knowledge of insurance information.
