About The Position

Fisher-Titus proudly serves the greater Huron County area's 70,000-plus residents by providing a full continuum of health and wellness care from heart and cancer care to outpatient services such as lab, imaging, and physical rehabilitation. The position involves managing individualized, goal-directed nursing care through the use of the nursing process in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures. Responsibilities include assessing and diagnosing patient and family needs, developing and communicating a realistic plan of care, implementing medical plans, evaluating care provided, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role also requires maintaining current knowledge and certification, attending safety training, and promoting effective working relations within the team.

Requirements

  • Grados asociados o mejor en Nursing.
  • Certification CPR.
  • Registered Nurse Certification.
  • ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Manages individualized, goal-directed nursing care through the use of the nursing process.
  • Assesses and diagnoses patient and family needs to provide quality care.
  • Develops, discusses, and communicates a realistic plan of care for each patient.
  • Implements medical plan of care, nursing interventions, and procedures as necessary.
  • Evaluates identified problems, care provided, and patient's responses.
  • Maintains up to date and accurate documentation of nursing care.
  • Maintains current knowledge/certification/licensure.
  • Pursues professional growth and development.
  • Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors, and fellow employees.
  • Attends all required safety training programs.
  • Follows hospital exposure control plans/bloodborne and airborne pathogens.
  • Promotes effective working relations and works effectively as part of a team.
  • Functions as a role model and provides support and development for current and new staff.
  • Directs other licensed and non-licensed personnel in the provision of care.
