The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team. This role will be based in Mountain View, CA. The Data Center & Core Network Engineering team is responsible for architecting, designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network infrastructures for data centers and DCI optical networks. We ensure seamless connectivity, security, and reliability within campus and across global data center networks. We develop tools and automate processes to support our hypergrowth. As a Staff Network Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role as a technical leader and exemplar within our team. We seek an individual who implements and supports networking technology solutions aligned with business and technical goals, keeps up with cutting-edge networking research, fosters collaboration across teams, and adeptly balances competing priorities. In addition to leadership acumen, a successful Staff Network Engineer should demonstrate sufficient proficiency in both networking and automation engineering.
