About Customer Solutions: Digital Products Engineering (DPE) Commerce enables commerce between General Motors, GM Dealers, and consumers. From online vehicle shopping to service scheduling to buying parts, accessories and digital experiences, DPE Commerce focuses on every phase of commerce. Loyalty is part of DPE Commerce area. We build front-end applications, individual services and platforms-as-a-service, ensuring the best reuse across multiple lines of business (LOBs). We use agile methodologies to validate hypotheses and GM's proven 5-star approach to optimize performance, security, and total cost of ownership. This position is with the Loyalty tech team helping build GM's Loyalty platform with world class earn/redeem experiences to increase advocacy and engagement of our customers. This critical hands-on role will concentrate on the overall integration design and development for the range of products under the GM Loyalty umbrella. The Staff MuleSoft System Integration Lead software engineer is responsible for participating in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation of real time APIs and batch jobs, integrating with Salesforce, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed. He / She will work with other IT staff members to ensure the highest degree of functionality and reliability of our infrastructure. This position requires an individual who is hands-on with MuleSoft, detail-oriented, adept in MuleSoft design patterns and approaches to implement business logic to integrate with Salesforce, able to adapt under stressful conditions, can multitask, possesses solid technical communication and customer service skills.
