About The Position
At Disney Experiences (DX), we inspire magic by enabling our teams to push the limits of entertainment and create innovative built environments. Architecture & Facilities Engineering (A&FE) is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the development and sustainment of projects throughout the Disneyland Resort. Our department supports a wide range of facilities-related projects that extend into attractions, maintenance, food and beverage, merchandise, and entertainment. This position requires being the technical Owner’s Representative in mechanical engineering, covering issues, managing design, enforcing code compliance, and conducting life cycle cost analysis for best value. The role involves close collaboration with other engineering disciplines and multiple Disney project teams including FAM, WDI, Entertainment, and Operations. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will manage the design development, implementation, and sustainment of mechanical utilities and systems supporting the Disneyland Resort assets. You will develop bid-level construction documents, support RFP development, and create workload estimates to assist our project management team.
