About The Position

Join a well-respected practice in a vibrant town in southern VT. This is a hospital-owned practice that is focused on providing full-spectrum, high-quality OB/GYN care to our community. Physicians love working here—two have been with the practice for over 20 years! It’s a unique community hospital that is still independently operating and thriving. Physicians are trusted and listened to by an administration that seeks collaborative relationships with the medical staff. The practice currently has four physicians, six midwives, and a nurse practitioner. Our office culture is respectful and collaborative, with a caring staff of nurses, medical assistants, and secretaries. There is very low staff turnover—some staff have been here over 20 years. Independent hospital promotes collaborative culture and deeply values the physicians. Flexible 3–4-day work week, seeing 12-14 patients a day. Broad spectrum of OB/GYN consults, variety of office procedures, and a steady surgical volume. Three dedicated OR days per month. New operating rooms with focus on minimally invasive surgery Manageable home call, as back up to midwives.
