About The Position
This position provides hybrid telework opportunities, with employees required to work in person at their designated approved HQ location at least two (2) days per week and as needed/required. Beginning July 1, 2025, all DGS employees will be required to work in office at their assigned HQ location four (4) days per week and as needed/required in alignment with Executive Order N-22-25. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment. Under the general direction of the Deputy Director of the Office of Audit Services (OAS), the incumbent independently supervises audit and consulting activities that contribute to the improvement of risk management, control and the governance processes using a systematic and disciplined approach. In that role, the incumbent is responsible and directly accountable for properly supervising engagements to ensure that objectives are achieved, and staff is developed.
