About The Position

At MLT, we create solutions by empowering our people to fulfill their passion for service. In support of our customer, we are seeking a Mid Staff Logistician. The specific requirements and tasks may include, but are not limited to the following: Analyze Integrated Product Support (IPS) and Life Cycle Logistics management of assigned programs within the JPM CBRN Integrated Early Warning (IEW) portfolio. Develop, review, analyze, prepare, and/or update studies, analyses, and program documentation. Provide support to the product/project office for the full life cycle management, through development, procurement, fielding, and sustainment, applying Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition processes involving life cycle logistics. monitor product supportability requirements in relation to the established program requirements for cost, schedule, and performance. Assist in milestone planning and reviews by providing logistics input to technical briefing materials, documentation, and integrated master schedules. Interface and coordinate product support efforts with both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate and resolve complex logistics issues. Participate in Integrated Product teams (IPTs), Integrated Program Reviews (IPRs), Milestone Reviews, and any another applicable meeting to ensure logistics elements are addressed in the following program phases: a. Material Solution (MS) Phase b. Technology Maturation & Risk Reduction (TMRR) Phase c. Engineering & Manufacturing (EMD) Phase d. Production & Deployment (P&D) Phase Assist in creation and maintenance of type classification/material release and related documentation related to acquisition. Be responsible for updating, creating, archiving program information on the Joint Acquisition CBRN Knowledge System (JACKS), assigned program shared drive, Microsoft Teams, and/or other repositories that the assigned program is using to store data. Develop life cycle sustainment plans, fielding plans, logistics demonstration plans, technical manuals, training packages and other logistics related deliverables. Manage, review, and comment on Prime contractor technical manuals, validation efforts, provisioning data, training packages, and other logistics- related deliverables. Support technical manual verification events and logistics demonstrations Ability to coordinate, facilitate, and record (agenda, minutes, actions) meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, 3 – 7 Years of Experience with 2 Years of Acquisition Logistics Experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in CBRN defense, DoD acquisition logistics, and lifecycle management from design and development through procurement and sustainment; including requirements development, milestone planning, integrated product support, cataloguing and provisioning, total package fielding, property management, and maintenance
  • Equipment and instruction training (e.g. operator and maintenance experience or certifications).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Office
  • Familiarity with Defense Property Accountability System, Global Combat Support System, and Logistics Modernization Program
  • Ability to establish partnerships and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve task assignments
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication
  • Ability to maintain a US Driver’s License and operate a forklift

Nice To Haves

  • Secret Clearance.
  • Foundational Training in Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Lifecycle Logistics, or equivalent, desired
