About The Position

Join our dynamic Staff Kids Summer Experience team and inspire young minds! We are seeking enthusiastic and creative Summer Teachers to lead engaging and educational activities for children aged 4 years to 5th grade. Program hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:30a - 5:00p. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact on children's lives while enjoying a fun and rewarding summer experience. As a Summer Teacher, you’ll:

Responsibilities

Create a warm and welcoming classroom, ensuring a safe and healthy environment, maintaining order and discipline in a life-giving manner.
Bring daily activities to life with excitement, fostering the children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development.
Intentionally and actively interact with children, both individually and in groups.
Meet each child's basic needs, including comforting them when they're upset and understanding the cause of their distress.
Ensure children have everything they need from home.
Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities that encourage creativity and exploration based on themes and curriculum.
Keep classrooms well-stocked and organized.
Maintain a daily schedule and flow of your classroom.
Share updates with parents about their child's day.
Adhering to all Staff Kids Care policies and procedures.
Communicate with the Staff Kids Care Director regarding curriculum, classroom environment and progress of the children in the class.
