Overview Vantor is seeking a Mid-Level All-Source Analyst with an emphasis on Imagery Analysis that will play a key role in intelligence operations by integrating multiple types of intelligence (HUMINT, SIGINT, OSINT, etc.) with detailed imagery analysis to provide actionable insights. The analyst leverages a variety of sources, including satellite imagery, UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) footage, and geospatial data, to support decision-making processes in areas such as military operations, national security, and strategic planning. This position requires a deep understanding of imagery analysis techniques, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other intelligence disciplines to produce comprehensive and actionable intelligence reports.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance (CI polygraph eligibility required).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence, Geography, Geospatial Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in all-source intelligence analysis with a specific focus on imagery analysis or geospatial intelligence (GEOINT).
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience using imagery analysis software (e.g., ENVI, RemoteView) and GIS tools (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS).
  • Knowledge of Intelligence Community: Familiarity with intelligence gathering and analysis processes, as well as knowledge of the broader intelligence community's structure and workflows.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail in imagery interpretation and anomaly detection.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear and concise reports and briefings.

  • Advanced Certification: Professional certifications in imagery analysis or GIS (e.g., GISP, GEOINT certification).
  • Specialized Imagery Software: Experience with specific imagery analysis platforms (e.g., Socet GXP, ERDAS IMAGINE).
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in foreign languages can be advantageous for certain regional focus areas.
  • Military or Government Experience: Experience working within a military or government intelligence environment, with exposure to tactical or strategic intelligence operations.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze Imagery Data: Interpret satellite imagery, aerial reconnaissance footage, and geospatial data to identify key patterns, changes, and anomalies.
  • Integrate All-Source Intelligence: Combine imagery analysis with other forms of intelligence (HUMINT, SIGINT, OSINT) to develop a comprehensive intelligence picture.
  • Report Generation: Produce clear, concise intelligence reports and visual products (maps, charts, imagery overlays) for dissemination to senior decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with Other Analysts: Work closely with analysts from other disciplines to validate findings and ensure that intelligence assessments are well-rounded and accurate.
  • Geospatial Analysis: Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) tools to conduct geospatial analysis and produce visual representations of intelligence data.
  • Monitor Developments: Continuously monitor regions of interest for changes, identifying significant shifts in the environment that may require further investigation or reporting.
  • Provide Briefings: Present imagery analysis findings and intelligence assessments to senior leadership and other stakeholders in a clear, accessible manner.
  • Database Management: Maintain and update databases of imagery and geospatial data, ensuring that relevant imagery is accessible for future analysis.
  • Utilize Analytical Tools: Work with advanced imagery analysis software and tools (e.g., ENVI, ArcGIS, RemoteView) to extract relevant intelligence from imagery.
  • Support Mission Planning: Provide imagery-based intelligence to support military operations, counterterrorism efforts, disaster response, or other national security priorities.
