About The Position

The University of Washington (UW) is seeking a full-time Staff Human Resources Manager for the Division of Allergy & Infectious Diseases. This position is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of staff HR operations within a large and complex organization that includes over 148 faculty, 22 fellows, and 166 staff members. The role requires independent judgment in executing personnel functions such as recruitment, employee relations, compensation, and staff development. The HR Manager will need to navigate high volumes of operational activities while applying expert judgment and decision-making skills. The position demands strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with frequent interactions both within and outside the Division. The incumbent will ensure compliance with University policies and procedures and will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and quality of the Division's clinical, academic, and research programs.
