The engineer will manage small projects under the supervision of a certified professional engineer or scientist as required, gather field data and samples for related projects, and coordinate samples for testing. The position also requires supporting the completion of permit applications according to appropriate local, state, and federal guidelines, completing engineering analyses and calculations within the assigned discipline, and developing moderately complex conceptual models under the supervision of a licensed engineer. The engineer will prepare deliverables such as memos and reports, provide occasional quality assurance/control support, and ensure that deliverables are submitted to the project manager in a timely manner. The role may require domestic travel to project sites up to 10% of the time.
