About The Position
Associated Earth Sciences, Inc. (AESI) is seeking a Staff Geologist or Staff Natural Resource Scientist to join our team in Kirkland or Mount Vernon, WA. This position is ideal for individuals interested in pursuing future licensing as a hydrogeologist and/or engineering geologist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage in diverse work experiences while receiving strong mentorship from our technical departments. The working environment is casual, fostering collaboration and accessibility to senior leadership. You will perform geologic and hydrogeologic field studies, including geologic reconnaissance, subsurface exploration, aquifer testing, and groundwater monitoring. Your analytical skills will be put to use as you prepare geologic maps, cross sections, and conceptual groundwater flow models based on the data collected. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing technical reports and collaborating with our graphics team to create supporting maps and graphics. Participation in project meetings will be essential, as you will contribute to the initial scope and cost planning, work planning, and client communication.
