We are seeking an Staff Financial Analyst to join our finance team supporting the Alpha Portfolio of Programs within Space Protection Programs in the LM Space National Security Space (NSS) Line of Business. This role will be responsible for performing analysis and supporting the Finance Team across the portfolio of programs. The selected individual will work with a team that influences business, and finance operations strategy. This role will have significance to the finance teams internal strategy and program performance as a whole.

  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Financial analysis or EVM or cost management or budgeting or any other finance or business experiences
  • Ability to obtain a clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient with COBRA, SAP, and Microsoft Office products; advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) standards, policies, procedures, and implementation as outlined in the Electronic Industries Alliance Standard-748 EVMS (EIA-748)
  • Knowledge of Lockheed Martin EVMS Requirements (PPMP-01)
  • Experience in multiple F&BO functions a plus (FP&A, Material, Production Operations, Contracts, Planning, Estimating, Cost Control)
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to identify process improvements and see ideas through to implementation
  • Quick learner with aptitude for systems and processes
  • Proactive self-starter
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience with SAP, Cobra, WEBI, Mission Control
  • Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with pivot tables and significant Excel experience
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Previous experience with detailed analysis of data
  • Ability to balance competing priorities in a high-pressure environment
  • Program Finance experience to include monthly and annual program financial status preparation and analysis.
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • 5+ years of related experience
