About The Position

WHAT WERE DOING We deliver innovative, time-critical, SME-level technical expertise to the C4ISR family of fielded ground systems that support our customers in the field. Our Field Engineers provide technical support to operations forward environments and sustain and maintain the infrastructure and integration activities for our delivered ground systems. THE WORK In this critical role, you will: - Provide SME level field expertise of TMAN (Cross-Domain Solution) systems to ensure the sustained operations and maintenance of the fielded ground systems. - Provide ad-hoc troubleshooting during operations to include working issues at the tier 1 / tier 2 system levels for all TMAN delivered systems. - Display strong interpersonal, written and communication skills. These skills should include an emphasis on customer facing communications and will require an aptitude to verbally dialogue sophisticated system changes to all levels of technical acuity. - Display familiarity with the use of engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, technical guides and manufacturers' manuals. - Provide a direct link between the delivered systems to our remote customers and the factory engineers that facilitate system changes. WHO WE ARE You will be a member of a mission-critical field engineering team working on a high operations tempo program that serves our Lockheed Martin Aeronautics and DoD customers at a remote customer facility in CA. We have factory engineering support for our fielded products out of our Lockheed Martin RMS - TMAN Team located in Littleton, CO. Come join the Command and Control (C2) Ground domain within RMS as we redefine our ground systems infrastructure and provide expert level engineering support to our Special Access Program (SAP) customers. WHO YOU ARE You are an experienced, level-headed field innovator and integrator with a background in maintaining and integrating cross-domain solutions (CDS), specifically the TMAN system of systems. You have experience working in critical availability infrastructure environments that are burdened by an aggressive operations tempo and a tiered support network for troubleshooting the systems and their infrastructure. Requirements

  • Current/Active Top Secret DoD Security Clearance
  • DoD 8570 Certification level 2 - (CompTIA Security+)
  • Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Cross domain Solution (CDS) specifically the TMAN system environment.
  • Provide assistance to users in accessing and using TMAN systems
  • Provide support to TMAN systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, etc.
  • Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting TMAN systems
  • Configure and manage UNIX (Solaris/Red Hat) and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with computer/network systems
  • Identification, diagnosis and troubleshooting steps to resolve complex system problems
  • Ability to resolve complex issues and troubleshoot over the phone and remote telecom instances
  • Advanced knowledge on Solaris 11.3 and Red Hat 8.6 SE Linux Operating systems
  • Advanced knowledge on Cisco Networking devices
  • Experience working TMAN administrative configuration functions
  • SAP Program experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide SME level field expertise of TMAN (Cross-Domain Solution) systems to ensure the sustained operations and maintenance of the fielded ground systems.
  • Provide ad-hoc troubleshooting during operations to include working issues at the tier 1 / tier 2 system levels for all TMAN delivered systems.
  • Display strong interpersonal, written and communication skills. These skills should include an emphasis on customer facing communications and will require an aptitude to verbally dialogue sophisticated system changes to all levels of technical acuity.
  • Display familiarity with the use of engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, technical guides and manufacturers' manuals.
  • Provide a direct link between the delivered systems to our remote customers and the factory engineers that facilitate system changes.
  • Act as site liaison for remote field team and lead FSR schedule availability for factory reach-back and meeting coordination
  • Occasionally work extended hours or weekends
  • Available during off hours for emergency support if required
  • Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to management and internal customers
  • Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process
