The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Miami School of Medicine seeks a Clinical Staff Fellow. Main responsibilities include extensive direct patient care, night and weekend on-call, and staffing the residents in the clinics and operating room. The Staff Fellow will assist in teaching and training residents in an Ophthalmic Training Program. Must excel in teaching and be willing to assume appropriate administrative responsibilities. Candidate must have an M.D. degree and accredited residency- training program in ophthalmology in the U.S. Candidates should be board certified or board eligible and hold a valid and unrestricted State of Florida Medical License or Medical Faculty Certificate. Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O Degree
  • Successful completion of an ACGME accredited residency program
  • State of Florida Medical Licensure
  • DEA Certification
  • Accredited residency- training program in ophthalmology in the U.S.
  • Board certified or board eligible
  • Hold a valid and unrestricted State of Florida Medical License or Medical Faculty Certificate

Responsibilities
