About The Position

DuBois & King, Inc is seeking an Environmental Staff Engineer with approximately 0-5 years of experience. This is an entry level, full-time engineering position with full benefits in our busy and growing Rutland, Vermont office, with an ideal start date of May or early June. This position would support our Public Works division, with projects in water resources, water- and storm-water engineer, civil engineering, public infrastructure, and more. Established in 1962, DuBois & King provides multidisciplinary consulting engineering services to federal and state agencies, municipalities, health care and educational facilities, airports, industrial and commercial building projects, energy producers, and the telecommunication industry. We employ professional engineers, planners, surveyors, technicians, environmental and permitting specialists, wetland scientists, biologists, landscape architects, and support personnel.

Requirements

0-5 years of relevant experience
Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
B.S. degree in Civil Engineering

AutoCAD and Civil 3D preferred

Responsibilities

Learning key engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D and GIS programs/conventions.
Assist in the development and preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates.
Conduct site reviews as needed for feasibility studies, planning, and design projects.
Provide conceptual, preliminary, and final design civil engineering support for all divisions. These tasks are likely to include: investigation, research, calculations, evaluation of alternatives, and design development on a variety of projects.
