The Avionics Test Engineering organization is looking for a motivated individual to support the Melbourne Avionics Boundary Scan and Structural Test Engineering team. We're a global engineering organization responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of manufacturing test solutions in support of the $5B Avionics strategic business unit, as well as external customers including armed services and airlines both domestic and international. The primary responsibility of this position is to support In-Circuit Test solutions for Avionics products. Test Engineering offers an array of innovative test equipment solutions for Collins Aerospace products and programs.

  • Expert on Call (EOC) In-Circuit Test (ICT) factory support
  • Generating new ICT programs
  • Updating existing ICT programs
  • ICT program conversions
  • Debugging, analysis, and electronics troubleshooting
  • Experience in ICT test equipment and test solutions in a manufacturing environment
  • AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience or in the absence of a HS diploma, GED or AA/AS degree, 8 years of relevant experience is required or A Bachelor's degree in the appropriate discipline and less than 2 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status)
  • Experience with Takaya ICT programming and test equipment
  • Experience with HP/SEICA/Marconi ICT programming and test equipment
  • Experience with Valor Process Prep software
  • Experience with electronics troubleshooting
  • Experience with test equipment and test solutions
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
