About The Position

Staff Engineer will lead and support complex infrastructure, environmental compliance, and resource‑management projects within the water and oil & gas sectors. This position is responsible for well abandonment programs, produced‑water management initiatives, and regulatory compliance activities. The role requires strong project management capabilities, technical engineering experience, and the ability to collaborate with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Engineering
  • 10 year experience in Oil and Gas Infrastructure
  • 5 years project management experience
  • Microsoft Project

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage projects across oil & gas infrastructure.
  • Oversee project design modifications, inspections, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Develop project scopes, cost estimates, and documentation supporting infrastructure upgrades and remediation efforts.
  • Prepare status reports, board packets, and budget summaries for leadership review.
  • Lead and manage oil & gas well drilling, workovers, and abandonment programs, including injection wells, monitoring wells, and water‑supply wells.
  • Direct produced‑water pond closure projects and water treatment initiatives for agricultural reuse.
  • Create and maintain pipeline management plans for new and existing systems.
  • Perform data collection, analysis, and reporting to support operational improvements and regulatory compliance.
