About the team Join our Infrastructure Services team and lead the charge in scaling and modernizing the backbone of Mambu’s global SaaS platform. This is more than just a technical role — you’ll drive architecture direction, decommission legacy systems, and build a platform that supports daily, automated, secure deployments for critical financial services. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You'll have real ownership in shaping how we run, secure, and scale infrastructure at a global level — with measurable business impact.

Requirements

10+ years of hands on experience in running mission critical cloud infrastructure, combining strategic vision with hands-on execution
Proven experience in large-scale, mission-critical cloud environments ( AWS required ).
Proven track record leading platform transformation, from legacy clean-up to modern, automated infrastructure.
Deep hands-on knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab or similar).
Strong background in Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized deployment workflows.
Experience driving DevOps/DevSecOps in a high-availability environment.
Strong grasp of security practices in infrastructure and data systems — including schema design and exposure prevention.

Experience with data services, machine learning infrastructure, or cost-optimization at scale.

Responsibilities

Define and lead infrastructure strategy, working closely with product and engineering leaders to modernize core services.
Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure using IaC and automation best practices.
Mentor engineers and raise the bar on engineering excellence, code quality, and observability across teams.
Own and optimize cloud budgets and vendor relationships across AWS and other providers.
Drive platform resilience, scalability, and performance, phasing out outdated dependencies and systems.
Champion CI/CD, DevSecOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code standards to support fast, safe deployments.
Integrate modern practices in monitoring, security, and compliance, especially in high-volume, regulated environments.
