Requirements

  • 2 years of experience troubleshooting mechanical issues in an industrial environment, including performing technical diagnostics, failure analysis, and maintenance support.
  • 2 years of experience with computer aided design software (CAD), such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
  • 24 months experience in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, maintenance engineering or related role.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in mechanical engineering or a related engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor production status and analyze output by reviewing daily, weekly, and monthly production reports to detect abnormalities or unexpected shifts in real-time operations.
  • Evaluate production performance using plant scorecards and mathematical models to track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), generate performance summaries, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts by reviewing operation deficiency reports and coordinating with mechanical, electrical, instrument, and process engineers to identify root causes and implement corrective measures.
  • Review and analyze production and service department budget proposals using enterprise systems such as ERP and AS400.
  • Conduct cost analysis and support optimization of production organizational structure to improve resource allocation and operational efficiency.
  • Assess incentive achievement and value creation by comparing actual plant performance to established benchmarks and reporting on results for recognition and performance reward programs.
  • Manage improvement projects related to capital and environmental initiatives, including budget review, benefit estimation, project scheduling, and feasibility analysis of new technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, IT, and automation groups to implement and optimize production systems such as ERP and computerized production management systems, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and operational goals.
  • Evaluate new equipment and automation tools by conducting feasibility assessments and implementation planning to enhance process efficiency and reliability.
  • Document and standardize production processes and operating procedures to ensure consistency, support training, and facilitate process audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
