Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
2+ years of experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
1+ year of experience with debugging techniques.

Nice To Haves

Experience with creative and hands on problem solving to build IoT, data analysis, and ML solutions
Experience with C/C++ for embedded operating systems such as Zephyr and Linux
Experience with Python scripting language and ML/data libraries such as Keras, Pandas or Numpy
Ability to understand and distill customer requirements and leverage excellent communication skills to guide them to a technical solution
Track record of working effectively async in a distributed team - with customers and internally
Experience with wearable health technology or industrial predictive maintenance
Ability and willingness to travel 10 to 15 percent to work with customers onsite and participate in tradeshow events
Master's degree in computer science or ML/data management certification preferred

Responsibilities

Be the chief technical liaison for customers and partners on topics such as ML/Data science and running Edge Impulse deployments on embedded systems
Develop data infrastructure and pipelines for enterprise customers with data management needs
Develop DSP, ML, and deployment solutions and integrations executing algorithms on different hardware targets
Develop technical documentation collateral that showcases specific aspects of the Edge Impulse platform to potential and current Enterprise customers and partners
Develop, coordinate, and present demonstrations of Edge Impulse at tradeshow events
